Best piZza during our visit to Crater Lake. Order the Midgie pizza, it has pesto wow, amazing taste, well done really comes out crispy. Must must try if you are in Klamath Falls.

My prior dinner in Klamath Falls was as a child in the 1970s at a diner that served undercooked fried chicken which was followed by a walk back to the motel with a man yelling racist words at our family (and my dad warning us to be careful because not much has changed since he was held at the internment camp at nearby Tulelake).
Looks like progress has been made in the last four decades with well-constructed pizzas instead of raw chicken. We had a Captain Jack pizza with evenly distributed ingredients - highlighted by tasty sausage. The large Southern Shakeup salad balanced our diet with loads of healthy greens and roughly cut green bell peppers.
I was still shouted at while walking back to the motel, but this time it was a car full of rambunctious teenage girls with the driver shouting "Hello you sexy mother f$%&ers". Still derogatory but at least not racist. -

Ordered the fire sauce medium size pizza. This is a pizza with sweet chili sauce, red pepper, jalapeno, onions. It's a good weird tasting pizza. I like the sweetness combined with spiciness. But what I would like better is the the crust not having the sweet syrup drizzled on it. I would have liked the bread as is. The sweetness from bread would have worked well with the fire sauce. Also the boneyard beer is very good IPA.

As a vegan I always appreciated the salad bar available all day through dinner. But since Old Town took that away, I've had to be more honest about why I would patronize this place.
I still appreciate the vegan cheese and gluten-free crust. But last time the gluten-free crust was woefully undercooked and soggy; on top of the fact that I was not allowed to make my own salad anymore, I was supremely disappointed. Plus, 9/10 times I order a pizza here, they get it wrong. They usually compensate me somehow, but it's always some unwanted hassle. It's always something.
I hope this place can get it together. Their kitchen needs to be staffed with people who can read a ticket and make the correct order, for sure.
And management needs to reconsider the salad bar issue. If it matters to their bottom line, they've lost my weekly Friday night revenue of about $100 until the salad bar comes back for dinner. -

My boyfriend worked here for one day, and had to quit because it was so unsanitary. They do not use gloves, even when handling raw chicken, did not perform proper hand washing procedures, and do not clean the floors resulting in old, moldy food residue. It was so terrible I had to call the health inspector. DO NOT RECOMMEND UNLESS YOU WANT SALMONELLA!!
